Meztara was born from a shared love of connection, culture, and craft. Our story begins in Oaxaca, Mexico: the birthplace of our co-founder’s mother and the world capital of Mezcal. In Oaxaca, Mezcal is more than a spirit; it’s a tradition steeped in connection, celebration, and legacy.

Inspired by this, we set out to create Meztara: a brand that celebrates the people, flavours, and stories behind every pour. We work with local producers who craft small-batch Mezcal using time-honoured methods, ensuring each cocktail carries the true spirit of Oaxaca while supporting local communities.

From smoky agave fields in Mexico to gatherings across Australia, Meztara is about more than what’s in the glass. It’s about sharing something real: stories, laughter, and moments worth remembering.
